Many companies these days are taking care of their efficiency and operational costs saving. It is therefore a very high priority for the evaluation of employees and dismissal of redundant or not suitable workers.

 

Unfortunately, the dismissal of workers is not a simple process and can have a negative impact on both the remaining employees' motivation and the company's employers brand.

 

Dissatisfied employees can spread negative (not necessarily correct) information about the company on the market, claiming company being unreliable, neglect, or behave badly with their employees.

 

In this case, trying to hire new employees later company may face problems because of its formed poor employers brand.

 

On the other hand, by taking care of dismissing employees, company demonstrates both, for them and for present employees, that they are valuable and treated with deserved respect. Even those, who ought to let go. In that way, company is reinforcing it's employers brand as responsible and trustworthy.

 

After all, loosing work or replacement is one of the biggest stress sources, and in frequent cases (especially for those who work for the company for a great period of time) this can be a very painful process. Therefore, many require assistance in this crossroad of life. 

 

In addition, by taking care of dismissing employees company is not only forming their employers brand as a socially responsible company and a reliable employer's, but also have the opportunity to save a significant amount of money.

 

Employees must be given 2 months prior notice about planned dismissal. In addition on the day of dismissal 2 monthly salaries (could vary from 1 to 6 months, depending on seniority) compensations must be paid.

 

Giving people the opportunity to find work quicker and more effectively, the possibility of an agreement is raised with the redundancies of employees out of employment agreement "between the parties".

 

After all, if the dismissed employee has already secured a job in another company, it dramatically increases the likelihood that he would not want to spend 2 more months in the company that is letting him go.
